The origins of Cannibal Western
Humour and drawing as a childhood legacy
Since childhood, I have been deeply inspired by René Goscinny, whose dialogue is remarkable, and by Morris, whose drawings possess an extraordinary sense of the absurd. Their way of drawing humour from a line, a silhouette or a situation nourished my imagination. Cannibal Western extends that passion through a personal, contemporary and satirical world in which words, characters and images reveal the absurdity of power.
A world conceived for an animated series
The gallery of characters, visual situations, dark humour and continuity of the universe provide a natural basis for a satirical animated adaptation. Producers, studios and broadcasters may enquire about rights and licences.
